Alice H. Tyanich Interview conducted February 29, 2008 in Helena, Mont. In this interview Mrs. Tyanich discusses her early childhood growing up in Helena, soapbox car races on Rodney Street, her father's purchase of Hennessey's Grocery, attending school, the First Special Service Force, working for the Montana Livestock Production Credit Association, her cousin Ted Renvrue, Bell Canyon, her marriage to Dan Tyanich, his work as an interpreter, going into the glass business, the family cabin near Lincoln, Mont., fishing in Alice Creek, forest fires, and cooking.

Alice Honson (Marion) Tyanich was born June 7, 1933 in Butte, Mont. to Lawrence M. Honson and Carrie Butts Honson. The family moved to Helena in 1934. She graduated from Helena High School in 1951 and married Daniel Tyanich. Mrs. Tyanich spent the majority of her career working for the Montana Livestock PCA as a bookkeeper and assisting farmers with loans. From the description of Alice H.
